Summary
This public report on the operations of the City of Chicago Office of Inspector General (OIG) regarding the Public Building Commission (PBC) from July 1, 2025 through September 30, 2025. This report is filed with the Audit Committee pursuant to Intergovernmental Agreement, Section 2-56 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, and the Memorandum of Understanding by and between PBC and OIG.
Executive Summary
OIG’s Investigations section conducts both criminal and administrative investigations into the conduct of City officers, employees, and other entities, including contractors, subcontractors, and lobbyists. OIG may initiate an investigation either in response to a complaint or on its own initiative.
In Q3 2025, OIG received no new complaints related to PBC.
