The Office of Inspector General offers a broad and dynamic range of subject matter experts for keynote addresses, panel participation, forums, roundtable discussions, conferences, community events, meetings, and seminars. The Office will consider providing a speaker to discuss the mission, role, and purpose of OIG with any interested civic group, organization, government entity, or business association. When receiving requests, OIG collects information from users so that requests for speakers can be reviewed, managed, and matched with appropriate internal staff.
Terms of Service
OIG will make every effort possible to accommodate each request for a speaker. Operational commitments must take priority, and authorization to participate in a speaking engagement must not interfere with the mission of OIG. All incoming requests are carefully evaluated to assure that they provide an opportunity for OIG to share what we do with the largest segment of the public.
To request a speaker, please complete and submit the request form below. Please allow as much lead-time as possible prior to your event for us to arrange for the appropriate speaker. This is necessary to give speakers adequate notice, ensure minimal disruption to the mission, and provide adequate advanced notice to the requester as to whether a speaker will or will not be available. Please note, however, that because employee participation is on a volunteer basis, we cannot guarantee that all requests will be met.
