Stephen Stewart
Stephen Stewart joined the City of Chicago Office of Inspector General (OIG) in 2017 as a Forensic Data Analyst. He currently serves as a Chief Forensic Data Analyst since July 2023. Stewart brings over 10 years of experience in quantitative research, data analytics, and project management to his work at OIG.
Since joining the organization, he has built multiple dashboards to promote transparency and accessibility of City of Chicago data and played a key role in multiple City investigations. Prior to OIG, Stewart worked as an analyst at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and as a quantitative researcher at Templar Trading.
Stewart holds a BA in Economics-Mathematics from Columbia University and an MSc in Analytics from the University of Chicago.
