Michelle Wright

Michelle Wright joined the Office of Inspector General as the director of diversity, equity, and inclusion in October 2023. She is an accomplished executive, with a strong track record of success in leadership positions across a range of industries.

Prior to joining OIG, she served as the chief administrative officer at Northern Trust and as the director of human capital development on the executive leadership team at Family Christian Health Center. In these roles, Wright designed and implemented initiatives and systems to advance strategic priorities, improve culture, and drive employee engagement.

Wright’s diverse experience has given her expertise in project management, operations management, change management, client servicing, investment, risk, and compliance. In addition to her professional achievements, Wright is actively engaged in the community. She works with inner-city youth to help prepare and empower them for success.

She holds a BS in business management from the University of Phoenix and earned her MBA from DePaul University.
