Brenda McDonald

Brenda ‘Bree’ McDonald serves as the financial officer for the City of Chicago Office of Inspector General.

Prior to OIG, McDonald served as an accountant with Quatrro Business Support Services here in Chicago, where she worked with non-profit clients to help execute strategies according to their financial goals and objectives.

Additionally, McDonald has experience managing financial, operational, and budgetary activities at the Illinois State Board of Education and Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). Notably, she was the first female appointed manager of revenue operation for WMATA.

McDonald holds a BS in accounting from DeVry Institute of Technology.
