OIG Listening Tours

You know your City.

The City of Chicago Office of Inspector General (OIG) works to make Chicago government better and to hold City actors accountable when they break the rules. OIG is a watchdog for the taxpayers of the City and has jurisdiction to conduct inquiries into most aspects of City government.

We want to hear what you think.

As we plan and prioritize our work, it is our highest obligation to direct our attention and resources toward those problems that most impact Chicagoans. We invite you to take the four-question survey below to let us know your thoughts.

Translate the 2026 Listening Tours survey using the website translation button in the upper right corner. Available translations options: François, Deutsch, Polski, Русский, Español, Українська, اردو, العربية, 简体中文, or हिन्दी.

Take the Listening Tours survey, available from March 4 through April 30, 2026.

Please note: All responses to the OIG Listening Tours survey are private and confidential.
