Summary

The City of Chicago Inspector General’s Office (IGO) has concluded an inquiry which found that the Chicago Fire Department (CFD) Fire Prevention Bureau does not ensure that all City mandated tests of fire pumps used for standpipe or sprinkler systems are performed by appropriately licensed contractors.
