OIG’s scheduled maintenance is underway!

The City of Chicago Office of Inspector General (OIG) is performing scheduled maintenance.

In the meantime, here’s how to reach us:

While our online forms are temporarily unavailable, we are still here to serve you.

Start an Intake

To report misconduct, waste, or abuse, or share your suggestions to make City government better, call (833) TALK-2-IG (833-825-5244) or email talk2ig@igchicago.org.

Submit a FOIA Request

The public has the right to request records from any government agency through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Submit your written request by fax (773) 478-3949, or email OIGFOIA@igchicago.org.

Request a Speaker

Invite OIG to speak at an upcoming event by emailing communications@igchicago.org.

Report Political Contacts

For City employees, report any contact you receive from City officials or political organizations, related to employment decisions, by emailing compliance@igchicago.org.

Careers at OIG

To apply for a job or explore careers at OIG, you will need to come back as soon as the new site is live! In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact hrliaison@igchicago.org. Do not send your résumé or cover letter to this address; this is just for questions, while the site is in migration. You will be able to apply for positions at OIG online as soon as the new website is live (and application deadlines will be extended as necessary to compensate for any downtime on the site.)

For media or other questions please reach out to communications@igchicago.org.

Thank you for your patience. Come back soon!
