OIG Releases Draft Amended Rules

The City of Chicago Office of Inspector General (OIG) has posted a draft of its Amended Rules for notice and comment.

OIG is soliciting comments from City Hall, City Council, and the public for a period of 45 days from the date of publication, or until February 20th. OIG will consider all comments in finalizing its rules. OIG has a legal obligation to promulgate rules for the conduct of investigations and public hearings consistent with the requirements of due process and equal protection under the law.
