Investigatory Stop Reports: Ward
What will you find here?
Assessing investigatory stops by ward provides key information on which communities have more frequent interactions with police. This dashboard allows users to see the number of investigatory stops, the number of pat downs, and the number of searches in their neighborhood. Users can also assess the number of investigatory stops in their Ward by the reported race of the subject.
Questions that can be answered using data in this dashboard include:
- Which wards have the highest number of investigatory stops?
- How does the number of investigatory stops in the 40th Ward compare to the number of stops in the 20th Ward?
- Are stops more likely to result in a search or a pat down in certain Wards?
