Jane Kauffman
Chief Intake Specialist
Jane Kauffman joined the Office of Inspector General in 2021 as an intake specialist and currently serves as the chief intake specialist.
Before joining OIG, she worked as a medical social worker at a safety net hospital, Humboldt Park Health. Previously, she worked as an adult protective services investigator for Catholic Charities Chicago, a contractor for the Illinois Department of Aging.
Kauffman earned a BA in communicative disorders from the University of Redlands and an MA in social work from Jane Addams College of Social Work with the University of Illinois Chicago. Kauffman is also a Licensed Social Worker with the State of Illinois.
