Reena Sikdar joined the Office of Inspector General in 2021 as the Director of Legal Program and Compliance. Previously, Sikdar served as the Associate General Counsel and Deputy Chief Compliance Officer in the Office of Illinois Governor JB Pritzker. Prior to that, she served as an Associate Attorney in Jenner & Block’s Investigations, Compliance, and Defense practice, where she worked on a wide array of litigation and internal investigation matters. Her pro bono practice included representing individuals in criminal matters. Before becoming an attorney, she worked in both the for profit and nonprofit sectors. Sikdar earned a combined BA in Psychology and BS in Business Administration from the Ohio State University and a JD from Northwestern University School of Law, where she served as the Symposium Editor for the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology.
