SEIU Local 1 President and Inspector General Exchange Correspondence on Revenue & Savings Options Report

On October 3, 2012, President Thomas Balanoff of SEIU Local 1 wrote Inspector General Joe Ferguson a letter indicating concerns about OIG’s recent report on Savings & Revenue Options for the City of Chicago. The IG responded via letter on October 9, 2012. To further promote efficiency, effectiveness, and integrity in the City’s operations by increasing meaningful public scrutiny into OIG’s work, both President Balanoff’s original letter and the IG’s response are posted here.
